Every set is made to order by hand. With quality being our top priority, our turnaround time is about 4-6 weeks. Feel free to always email us at sayhello@summuitsheets.co with any questions with your order!
We know the problem because we couldn’t find sheets to fit our campervan. With curved sides and 6 corners, it was impossible to find a bed sheet that fit correctly. We found a couple of companies that offered custom sheets, but they were either designed for home decor or they were $400-$500. We believed there had to be a better way. With a simplified buying experience, and 100% satisfaction guarantee, we now offer custom sheets for your RV, campervan, and overland rig.
For now, yes. We went through many different fabric choices during our testing, and decided on the cotton-poly blend to launch. Cotton wears the best over time and can endure your adventures. We intend to expand fabric types to accommodate other needs (like weather, seasons, and personal preferences). Stay tuned as we continue to expand our fabric choices! If you have ideas, we’d love to hear them! Feel free to send us ideas at sayhello@summitsheets.co
It really comes down to how the material is sourced and processed. Generally stated, cotton is a more natural fiber that wears extremely well over time. Rayon, while starting as wood (often Bamboo), the process to turn it into fabric is considered a semi-natural product, as they use chemicals and synthetic materials to develop the fabric. We launched with a cotton sheet because rayon is a more delicate fabric, prone to pilling and loses its shape over time.
Simple! If you don’t like our product, just return it! We know that ordering a custom product can be daunting. Will it fit? What if it doesn’t? Am I stuck with this if I don’t like it? We’ve had those same questions before when ordering custom products.
We also stand behind our work.
However, if you are not 100% happy with your custom order, simply just return it within 45 days from your purchase date. We will refund 100% of your purchase price. Please contact us to start the return process.
We’ve partnered with local non-profits here in San Diego (but open to others). Since all orders are custom, we can’t immediately donate them. So, our team re-cuts and sews the usable fabric into specs for mattresses at women's shelters, homeless shelters, local schools, and medical teams. Each year we select a new non-profit to donate to. For the rest of the non-usable fabric, we donate them to our local quilting guild, run further prototyping, or contribute to the various schools that have sewing programs.
If you know of a non-profit that could benefit from our donations, please reach out to sayhello@summitsheets.co. We love ideas from our customers.
We take pride in the products we make and warrant to the person who originally purchased the product (“you”) that all Summit Sheets products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for their applicable 1 Year Warranty Period, subject to the below conditions. In order for your warranty claim to be approved, the following conditions must be met:
- You must have purchased the product directly through www.summitsheets.co;
- You must provide proof of purchase and identification;
- Products impacted by ordinary wear and tear, personal preference, misuse, or accidents are not eligible for free corrections.
- You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product’s care instructions.
As the saying goes, “sheet happens.” We got you! We make it super easy to repair your sheets and keep you on the road! Why do we aim to repair rather than replace? The textile industry is infamous for how much waste it produces. We don’t want to add to an already wasteful industry. So, rather than replace a product that has some damage, we’d rather repair it to extend the life of our product, therefore, reducing waste. Simply send us an email to sayhello@summitsheets.co. In your email, please include the following:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Address
- Order number (if you lost this through the gobs of emails you get, we can look you up with your name, phone number, and address)
- Description of the issue
- Picture of the damage.
Average turnaround time for repairs is 10 days (from the time we receive it). Repairs, regardless of size or issue, is a flat $25 fee. You cover shipping to us and we will cover shipping back to you.
Yes!!! It’s something we’re really proud of. As with any handmade item, you can expect some natural inconsistencies from the process. We think it adds a touch of character to our products, but when you buy something from us, you’re also supporting the American workforce. That’s pretty cool, especially nowadays.
We recommend washing your sheets in cool or cold water and tumble dry low. This will ensure longevity and use for many adventures! If you have stains, we personally love Dreft stain remover (yes, we know it’s for babies), as it’s gentle enough for babies but tough enough for those deep stains. FYI, stain removers are prone to damaging fabric if left on too long. We recommend applying your stain remover 2-5 minutes before washing your sheets.
100% yes. Due to the unique shapes and sizes of camping mattresses, we seam our fitted sheet at the top perimeter of the mattress. We do this so we can ensure a proper fit on the mattress. Unlike a house top sheet that drapes inches (sometimes feet) on the sides past the mattress, we cut our top sheet such that you won't have a ton of extra fabric that bunches up on your platform or panels that support your mattress.
